Service order

Renewal extends the existing service. If its term has expired but the service still exists, the new term starts when payment is processed. Prices and available billing periods are the same as for a new service.

This renewal does not extend the domain registration. Renew the domain separately.

You can also renew your existing hosting to the plan on this page. The plan changes only when the current paid term ends. For Ultimate → Lite, disk space, databases, backups and SFTP accounts must fit Lite before payment. Monthly traffic usage does not prevent the change. Usage is checked again when the change is due; if it has grown beyond the limits, Ultimate remains until you reduce usage. No data is deleted and no extra charge is made automatically.

Renewing your hosting and changing plans

Sign in and open My account → Purchased web hosting → Renew hosting. Keep your current plan or choose Lite or Ultimate for the next term. You can also select Renewal and your existing service on the product page. Renewal extends the existing hosting service without creating another account.

Hosting is renewed for one year at the current price of your chosen plan and domain option. The final price is shown before payment. The new term starts after the existing term ends. If the term has expired but the service is still eligible for renewal, the new term starts when payment is processed. A plan change takes effect when the current term ends.

Ultimate → Lite: before payment, we check that your files fit within Lite’s 1 GB storage allowance, you have at most 2 databases and 5 backups, and only the primary SFTP account is in use. If a limit is exceeded, you must reduce usage before proceeding to payment. Monthly traffic usage does not block the change. Usage is checked again when the change becomes due. If it has increased beyond the limits, Ultimate remains temporarily active and you receive instructions by email; your data is not deleted and no extra fee is charged automatically.

Lite includes one primary SFTP account. Ultimate also allows one additional account. The additional account supports encrypted SFTP only and accesses the same hosting files as the primary account; its starting directory is not a separate access restriction.

Domain registration is renewed separately. Renewing hosting does not renew the domain, even when they were purchased together. The domain renewal button in My account renews the domain and its included DNS option, but not the hosting service. Services do not renew automatically and your card is not charged automatically.
