Lite and Ultimate packages and prices

Lite is suitable for a smaller website, while Ultimate provides more space and higher service limits. The cards show current prices for the available domain options and the features of each package. Hosting is ordered for one year at a time; check the product page and checkout for the final price and availability.

What can you do with web hosting?

• Websites: publish your own site or use software such as WordPress or Joomla within the application's requirements and your package limits.
• Email: manage mailboxes for the email domain included in your package through the control panel.
• Databases: create and manage databases for your website within your package limits.
• Files and HTTPS: upload your website files using the package's connection details and enable the website's SSL certificate in the control panel once domain routing is configured correctly.

A feature described as unlimited does not remove other resource limits. For example, email, websites and databases share the package's disk space. Keep your own website software and extensions up to date.

Your own domain or a subdomain?

Your own domain: use a domain you already own or order a new domain from the shop together with hosting. A domain registered elsewhere does not need to be transferred to us just to use hosting, but its DNS records must point to the service using the supplied connection details.

Subdomain: if you do not need a separately registered domain, choose the subdomain option on the product page and enter a name according to its instructions. Check the price and availability of this option when ordering.

The hosting term and domain registration validity are separate. Renewing web hosting does not renew a domain registration. Keep any domain registered with another provider valid as well.

Ordering and getting started

1. Sign in to the shop, choose Lite or Ultimate, select New and choose the appropriate domain option.
2. Review the order and terms at checkout. Service creation starts after payment is confirmed.
3. Open My Account and check the hosting management and connection details. HestiaCP provides management of your website, email, databases and other package features.
4. Configure the necessary DNS records using the supplied connection details, upload your website files and configure your application's database.
5. Check HTTPS and test your website and email. DNS changes do not appear everywhere immediately, so allow for cached records to update.

When moving an existing site, keep the old service running until the new website and email flow have been tested. Make your own backups of important data before making changes.

Renewing your existing hosting

Open the same hosting package's product page, choose Renewal and select your existing service. Renewal extends hosting by one year at the current price of the equivalent new service and domain option. It does not create a new hosting account or replace your existing files.

The extra year is added to the existing active term. If the term has expired but the service still exists and is eligible for renewal, the new term starts when payment is processed. There is no automatic renewal or automatic charge. If your service is missing from the selector, contact support.

Responsibilities, backups and support

You are responsible for your website content, applications and extensions, their updates, strong credentials and the backups you need. The package's backup features do not replace your own plan for restoring important data.

Deleting the service may delete its websites, email and databases. Review the service-specific refund and withdrawal terms before ordering or making changes. Domain registration and its terms are handled separately.
